Terms and Conditions

Booking and payment

Payment for all classes and products is due upfront in full on booking. All payment is processed via PayPal. When payment has been received I will send you a booking confirmation and/or the products you have ordered.

Cancellation policy

I teach very small groups to give you the best possible experience. Due to the limited numbers, my classes are non-refundable. If you give more than a week’s notice of cancellation, I can either transfer you on to an alternative class, offer a credit note, or allow you to transfer your booking to a friend.

In the unlikely event of a class being cancelled, I will notify you as soon as possible and give you a choice between a full refund or a credit note that can be used for an alternative class.

Money-back Guarantee

If in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the quality of the class you have attended and feel it did not represent good value for money, I will refund your class fee in full. Please contact me stating the reasons for your refund request and I will process the refund within 7 working days.

Purchase and use of gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. The name of the recipient must be supplied when purchasing and vouchers are not transferrable. The purchaser can decide whether to buy a voucher for a specific class date  or buy an ‘any date’ voucher. ‘Any date’ vouchers can be redeemed against any future class date, subject to availability. Many classes get booked up very quickly so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Private Classes

I will contact students shortly after they have purchased a private class to book a suitable date and time, and to discuss class content, venue and other details. Private classes are not suitable for more than three people attending at once.  I generally only accept bookings within a 25-mile radius of central Horsham. I will travel to any home within 10 miles of central Horsham free of additional charge. If your home is more than 10 miles, there will be an extra charge of 50p per additional mile to cover my time and extra travel expenses, payable on the day of the class. Private classes are usually held on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday mornings. These dates are subject to availability and are usually booked up at least two weeks in advance. If a mutually convenient time and date cannot be arranged, I will offer a full refund on any class fees paid.

The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this website and contained within our classes, course notes, manuals and other supplementary materials provided are owned by Small Beans Photo School and must not be reproduced or redistributed without my prior consent.

At Small Beans Photo School, I take great care to ensure my chosen venues are child-friendly and my classes meet the highest standards of safety for all those attending. It is important that you pay attention during the classes and follow all my recommendations, especially those concerning health and safety. It is your personal responsibility to take care of your and your baby’s health and safety during the class.

You will remain responsible for your baby or child at all times whilst on the premises and throughout each Lesson. We will not be responsible for any injury or accident caused as a result of children and/or parents failing to abide by these rules and supervise their children at all times, in all parts of the building where the lesson is taking place.

You attend a Small Beans photo class at your own risk and I cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained to you or your child(ren) or damages caused while you are in attendance.

I encourage parents to take breaks whenever they need. You can take time to rest or feed the baby and then re-join the class at any time. If there is anything that is preventing you from enjoying and benefitting from the class, it is important that you let your teacher know as soon as possible.
